New England without Tom Brady on Sunday Night Football have a tall task in the Patriots Cardinals Free Pick this weekend. Football each and every day this weekend has everyone here at HRWager in the best of moods. We hope you share our joy and garner some profit this weekend. Find out how the suspended QB is not the key element to this game. Cardinals are now favored by a solid touchdown in the desert! Are they worthy of this faith not only by the linesmakers but the betting public in this game?
Sunday Night Football : Former Patriot

For once when the rich gets richer is not a reference to the Patriots. In fact, they lost a key cog to these very Arizona Cardinals. Chandler Jones now roams the defensive side of Zona. He is a linebacker who has averaged over ten sacks a year in his last three seasons. Now he is added to the equation to what was the fifth best defense in the league. Quite a task for fill in Jimmy Garoppolo to cope with as he leads the Pats Sunday Night.

A second blow to the Pats chances here is that Gronk is gone. The dynamic Patriots tight end is by far their best receiver. He would have been that instant out to help get the sub signal caller’s feet wet in this one. With hamstring problems, Rob didnt even make the trip. All of this and the line has only moved from the opening – 5 1/2 to the seven region. This is not enough of a market shift.

Brand name bias is keeping this line afloat. NE fans are known to bet against the odds the few times their team is an underdog. Part of keeping the line at -7 is because of this. However, do not fall into this trap. Arizona is one of the few franchises that are better on both sides of the ball then the Pats when New England is fully healthy. Spot them this much and home field advantage is decisive here. Double digit win should occur. Go with the Cardinals -7 for your Sunday Night Football Free Pick of the Day. Good fortune and we will see you next time here at the HRW.

Insane Betting Myths

Analyzing The Insane Betting Myths That Are Actually True

There are plenty of different tips that professional handicappers use when advising bettors to wager in the betting lines, and one of the constantly recurring themes in most betting forums is that gamblers should keep away from myths. Here, we aren’t preaching a different gospel; we are all for shunning most of these myths. I mean, why would I believe these constant talks about sportsbooks Analyzing The Insane Betting Myths That Are Actually True There are plenty of different tips that professional handicappers use when advising bettors to wagfixing games with players and teams when I practically live off the money I make every day in my betting endeavors? Yes, I know games are rigged, like the way New England’s Tom Brady liaised with whoever to do whatever on his footballs in that game against the Colts, but to the best of my knowledge—and I know a lot—there is no sportsbook that is yet to be implicated in that Deflategate scandal. Just think of it, if Brady knew that he’d get a lot of advantage from underinflated balls, don’t you think he’d have conspired with a handful of sportsbook odds to benefit from it being the “winner” that he is? Anyway, that’s besides what I am trying to put across; my point is that most myths are useless and time-wasting, but some of them—like the ones detailed below—are actually true.

Lines Movements are More Influenced by the Market than Teams

While teams strengths, the manner in which they play and issues such as injuries and suspensions influence betting lines; most line movements are largely based on the public betting action and opinions, along with Wiseguy money. This is also true for popular teams like the Golden State Warriors in the NBA or the New England Patriots in the NFL, who tend attract a lot of action on sportsbooks as favorites, with the market pounding hard on them and often leading to a drop in their lines. Insane Betting Myths

Most Gamblers Bet the OVER

There’s probably nothing insane about this, but to think that over 70 percent of recreational bettors, especially those who are new to the betting world, I are estimated to bet on OVER is just plain crazy. With so much money spent on sports like basketball, soccer and hockey on the defensive side of the ball, you’d expect bettors to at least consider that defenses will figure in games and lead to a number of UNDERs. Fortunately or unfortunately, research has it that most people love high-scoring games and that often influences their betting decisions, as they channel their expectations into the betting lines and wager mostly on the OVER, even in instances that it is ill-advised to do so. But then again, you wouldn’t really blame these bettors, would you? I mean, with players like Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo known to be goal-machines in soccer and the likes of Stephen Curry known to light it up in the NBA, your mind can easily be wired to expect high-scores whenever such players take to the field. Betting Trends in College Sports are Usually Sharper than in the Pros

Going by the competitive nature of sports in the Pros, going on long winnings streaks or keeping certain trends intact is usually very hard. In college sports, it’s the exact opposite, with most dominant teams staying dominant year-in, year-out while the underwhelming schools continue to struggle, irrespective of roster turnovers. A good example here is the Florida State Seminoles football team that won 29 straight games between 2012–2014, including a national championship in the 2012-13 season. The other example is the Kansas Jayhawks basketball team that hasn’t won the national championship since 2008, but boasts of a ridiculous 206–9 ( .958) win record at their home court, the Allen Fieldhouse, under head coach Bill Self, a record that includes win streaks of 69, 33, and a currently-active streak of 40 entering the 2016 season. When you play Kansas at home, it is therefore almost given that the Jayhawks will be winning that game.

First Games in the Pro Leagues are Risky to Bet On
On one hand, the fact that teams are often in transition during the preseason or at the start of the season comes with the advantage that you can find lines that aren’t so sharp, which can lead to good profits. On the other hand, surprises come aplenty during the start of the season, including false-starters, underrated teams playing well and overrated teams underwhelming with iffy performances. As such, it is advisable to be keep away from these lines—like NBA and NFL preseason—unless you are really sure that you’ve covered your bases.

San Francisco versus Denver Winning Favorites

2016 NFL Preseason San Francisco versus Denver Winning Favorites

2016 NFL Preseason San Francisco versus Denver Winning Favorites Posted by Henry Watkins on August 18, 2016 For the defending Super Bowl Champions, it’s timFor the defending Super Bowl Champions, it’s time to forget about the successes of a few months ago, and time to start thinking about the large target on you back. Any team who has ever won a title will tell you that defending it is harder than winning it in the first place, simply because everyone else wants a piece of the champion. The Denver Broncos essentially won it all with superior defensive play last year, and the general consensus is that they are going to have to go about things the exact same way this time around, mostly because Manning is gone, and an adequate replacement isn’t really in place. While that is a pretty big problem to have, it pales in comparison to what is going on in San Francisco. The 49ers look like a total shambles, and with the NFC West looking to be stronger than usual this season, they could be in for a rough go of things. They are way down in the Super Bowl 51 betting odds, and I don’t see them doing much to change that as the season progresses.

Why bet on the San Francisco 49ers

It is beginning to look more and more like Blaine Gabbert is going to be the man in San Francisco 49ers, as Colin Kaepernick looks like a man caught in limbo at the moment. Kaepernick came very close to moving to Denver in the offseason, but a potential deal fell through, leaving him on something of a strange spot. Gabbert did very little to impress in a Week 1 preseason loss, going just 4-10 for 63 yards and a TD. 43 of those yards came on the TD pass, but it has to be said that he looked pretty shaky overall. Kaepernick did not feature at all in that game, a 24-13 loss to the Texans, and it’s going to be interesting to see if he gets any snaps in Denver.

Why bet on the Denver Broncos

There are a trio of QB’s in Denver looking to take the number one spot, and Mark Sanchez will have given himself a leg-up with his performance in Week 1 of the preseason. He went 10-13 for 99 yards and 1 TD, as well as 1 INT, in a 22-0 win for the Broncos. As good as that performance was, what really jumped out was the ability of the Denver defense to essentially shut down the Bears. Chicago were held to 146 yards through the air, and just 48 on the ground, and much of that was against the Broncos reserves. It’s early yet, but this is the kind of defensive domination that the Broncos showed off last year.

San Francisco versus Denver Winning Favorites

I don’t see Denver having any real problems covering the 4.5-point spread in this one. They should be able to shut down the 49ers offense, particularly if the QB’s continue to struggle.

NFL free agent quarterback Johnny Manziel

Troubled NFL free agent quarterback Johnny Manziel promised things would be different this time. He would remain clean and sober and was working out in Hawaii to show that he can help a team.

Troubled NFL free agent quarterback Johnny Manziel promised things would be different this time. He would remain clean and sober and was working out in HawaSo what happens a day after his promise? Manziel got into an altercation with a wedding guest the day before a friend’s wedding at the Four Seasons Hotel. Manziel insists that he was not the aggressor in a story that appeared on TMZ.com.

Manziel believed the other man was the aggressor and was fed up with being hounded. In a quick decision, Manziel threw one punch and the fight was over in seconds. Police were not called and Johnny Football reportedly sent a bottle of champagne to the unidentified man with a note that read: “Truly apologize. Should have never done that. Know this won’t make it better, but hope it starts the day off right.”

Manziel, 23, is currently an NFL free agent after being released by the Cleveland Browns. No team wants to take a chance on him even as a backup because of a series of fights, alcohol abuse and just plain old silly behavior.

He was a guy that showed promise at Texas A@M, winning the Heisman Trophy in 2012. His level of immaturity has been troubling. Even his father believes his son could end up dead.

Manziel spent 73 days in a rehab clinic and checked out just in time for offseason workouts in 2015. Coaches and teammates said he looked more focused, drinking less and even moved out of a high priced downtown Cleveland high-rise where the party people of Cleveland lived.

He fell into old bad habits and was dismissed by the end of summer. He lasted 22 months in Cleveland and finished with seven touchdowns, seven interceptions and seven fumbles. That is hardly the stat line of a franchise quarterback.

Still, teams wanted NFL free agent quarterback Johnny Manziel, including the Dallas Cowboys. However, he ruptured former girlfriend Colleen Crowley’s eardrum with a punch to the head. Teams now say he is untouchable.

NFL free agent quarterback Johnny Manziel disappeared from the Browns, but emerged in Las Vegas with a blonde wig and moustache, telling people he was Billy.

Recently he apologized to fans and vowed he would be back. Manziel even posted a video of him working out in Hawaii.

I’ve got a killer gym in my house and I can spend time working out. I’m interested in doing a lot of different things in my life – including football – but, right now, I’m just exploring options and waiting to see what the future holds.”

But who can trust him?

Postseason Rematches

New England Patriots at Arizona Cardinals
Week 1: Sunday, September 11
Interconference matchups are always interesting, because teams like the Patriots and Cardinals only play each other once every four years. Perhaps the most interesting aspect to this matchup, other than the fact that both teams lost in their respective conference championship games last season, is that it pits arguably the two most respected head coaches in the league against one another. Bill Belichick has only faced a Bruce Arians-coached team once, when the latter was the interim coach for the Colts in 2012. That day was a blowout in favor of New England, although ironically, the Patriots blew a home game earlier that season to Arians’ predecessor in Arizona, Ken Whisenhunt. This will be a tough road assignment for Tom Brady (if he is not suspended) and a reshuffled Patriots offensive line.

Houston Texans at Denver Broncos
Week 7: Monday, October 24
Selecting Denver and Houston for the list premier games for NFL betting online of the 2016 schedule is no-brainer. Who doesn’t want to see if Broncos general manager John Elway made a huge mistake allowing Brock Osweiler to leave to the Texas as a free agent? There is speculation that Osweiler wanted to get out from under the shadow of Elway and Peyton Manning, the disgustingly successful quarterback legacy that serves as a huge hurdle for any young player looking to establish his own identity. Throw in the fact that the Broncos are trying to repeat, the Texans have a good team and J.J. Watt might make Mark Sanchez recreate the butt fumble, and it’s clear this deserves its lofty status.

Seattle Seahawks at New England Patriots
Week 10: Sunday, November 13
THe premium matchup of the 2016 NFL slate pits the two combatants from arguably the best Super Bowl ever: XLIX, two seasons ago in Phoenix. Imagine the Twitter conversations if Seattle gets to the Patriots’ 1-yard line at any point during the game. Run or pass? We can only dream it happens. Seahawks-Patriots bests Texans-Broncos because these are much better teams and this game has the potential to be of a higher quality. Both the Seahawks and Patriots will most likely be playoff teams again, whereas the Broncos and Texans will have multiple challengers to their division crowns. Given where Bill Belichick and Pete Carroll are in their respective coaching tenures, and given the rarity of this interconference meeting, this might be the last we see of these two on the same field unless we get a Super Bowl rematch.
